Terms of Service

1. The service
Argentum AI provides market news, AI-generated summaries and explanations, and portfolio-awareness features ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.
2. Education only — no financial advice
The Service is market intelligence for education. It is not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and no output — summary, signal, stance, or explanation — is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything. Markets involve risk, including loss of principal. Decisions you make are yours alone; consider a licensed advisor for advice.
3. No brokerage connection
The Service does not connect to brokerage accounts and cannot execute transactions. Holdings you enter are self-reported and used only to personalize analysis.
4. Accounts
You're responsible for your credentials and for the accuracy of what you enter. You may delete your account at any time in Settings; deletion is permanent (see the privacy policy).
5. Subscriptions
Argentum Pro is an auto-renewing subscription ($12/month or $99/year) billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel in your store's subscription settings. Refunds are handled by the stores under their policies.
6. Acceptable use
Don't abuse the Service: no scraping at scale, reverse engineering, resale of its output as a data feed, attempts to break its security or rate limits, or use that violates law.
7. Content & availability
News content belongs to its publishers; summaries are AI-generated and may be imperfect or delayed. The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We may change or discontinue features (and will be transparent when we do).
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Argentum is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for trading or investment losses of any kind, arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and material changes are announced in the app. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
