Who we are

Argentum AI ("Argentum", "we") provides market-intelligence software: the Argentum AI mobile apps and this website. Contact: support@argentumhq.com.

What we collect

• Account data — if you create an account: your email address and a hashed password, stored with our authentication provider (Supabase). Browsing the app does not require an account.
• Portfolio & preferences — holdings you enter manually (symbol, type, quantity), your watchlist, market-filter and notification preferences, and your chosen risk profile / time horizon. Stored against your account and used only to personalize the product (e.g. which news affects your holdings).
• Anonymous usage quota — without an account, a random device identifier tracks the free daily AI-summary quota. It is not linked to your identity.
• Purchases — subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store / Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. We receive subscription status (e.g. "Pro active"), never your payment details.
• Push tokens — if you enable notifications, the device push token, so we can deliver them. Removed when you disable notifications or delete your account.
• Notify-me email — if you sign up on this site to be notified at launch, the email you submit, used solely for that note.

What we do NOT do

• No advertising, no ad trackers, no sale or sharing of personal data with data brokers.
• No brokerage access: Argentum cannot see or touch real brokerage accounts. Holdings are what you type in, used for educational analysis only.
• AI features (news summaries, explanations) run on Anthropic's models via our servers; your holdings are sent only to generate your own analysis and are not used to train models.

Where data lives

Account and portfolio data are stored in Supabase (managed Postgres) with row-level security — each account can only ever read its own rows. Our services run on Render. Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) everywhere.

Deleting your account

In the app: Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and every row of your data — holdings, history, watchlist, preferences, push tokens, subscription records — and cannot be undone. Subscriptions themselves are cancelled through the App Store / Google Play. You can also email support@argentumhq.com to request deletion.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists and removed on deletion. Anonymous quota counters reset daily. Launch-notification emails are deleted after the launch note is sent.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data. The in-app deletion covers erasure; for anything else, email support@argentumhq.com.

We'll update this page when the policy changes and adjust the date above. Material changes are announced in the app.
